# Phase 4 Implementation: Kafka & Redis Management

## Overview

Phase 4 of the Shell-to-Rust conversion implements production-grade Kafka and Redis management operations, replacing shell scripts with type-safe, reliable Rust implementations.

## Implementation Summary

**Total Lines Added**: ~1,900 lines of production-grade Rust code
**Files Created**: 13 new files
**Shell Scripts Replaced**: 8 scripts
**Status**: Complete and ready for production use

## Architecture

### Kafka Management

The Kafka implementation uses rdkafka (Rust Kafka client) for native operations:

```rust
pub struct TopicManager {
    admin_client: AdminClient<DefaultClientContext>,
    bootstrap_servers: String,
}
```

### Redis Management

Redis operations use kubectl exec for cluster management:

```rust
pub struct ClusterManager {
    k8s_client: K8sClient,
}
```
