Variants§

§

PointerConfinement

Reply to a negotiated request, or permanent revocation of an active grant. A false reply denies/releases the request. An active grant never returns after revocation without a new explicit request and compositor approval.

Fields

§request_serial: u64
§active: bool
§

Focus

Fields

§focused: bool
§

Motion

Fields

§

RelativeMotion

Physical, unaccelerated deltas before output clipping, delivered only after explicit negotiation. The monotonic timestamp is compositor-local. Relative delivery grants neither capture nor shortcut inhibition.

Fields

§dx: i32
§dy: i32
§time_usec: u64
§

Button

Fields

§button: u32
§pressed: bool
§

Axis

Fields

§horizontal: i32
§vertical: i32
§

Leave

§

Key

Fields

§keycode: u32
§keysym: u32
§pressed: bool
§repeat: bool
§modifiers: u32
§text: Option<char>
§

TextCommit

An atomic, bounded UTF-8 text commit from the compositor.

Fields

§text: String
§

Touch

One bounded compositor-owned touch contact in window-local pixels.

Fields

§id: i32
§

TouchCancel

All active contacts on this window were cancelled by the compositor.
