Install

Cargo (Universal)

cargo install lacy

Homebrew (macOS/Linux)

Setup

After you installed lacy, you have to add it's shell configuration to your shell. (learn why)

# ~/.zshrc
eval "$(lacy init zsh)"

# ~/.bashrc
eval "$(lacy init bash)"

# ~/.config/fish/config.fish
lacy init fish | source

If you're running anything older than v0.112, you'll need lacy init nu --cd-cmd=cd. If you're running anything older than v0.113, you'll also need a small hack to set lacy alias (--cmd) to cd. Check docs.

mkdir ($nu.data-dir | path join "vendor/autoload")
lacy init nu | save -f ($nu.data-dir | path join "vendor/autoload/lacy.nu")
