# K1 Web code workspace

`K1WebCodeWorkspace::open(ordering, peering)` registers the `k1-web-ws` KTO subsystem from genesis and reconstructs every canonical unpublished workspace in memory. The cloneable synchronous facade exposes `create`, `branch`, `overwrite`, `get`, and `latest`; mutations return the accepted exact `Workspace` and queries return owned snapshots.

Create requires a family with no prior workspace. Branch creates an additional workspace for an existing family. Every Overwrite submits a transaction, including byte-identical content, and requires the stable unpublished workspace ID plus its exact current revision. Create and Branch use their transaction ID bytes as the stable workspace ID; Overwrite retains it and advances only its revision. The latest accepted mutation selects the family head.

Each mutation reserves an OS-random operation ID, submits exactly once through Peering, and correlates the exact canonical callback. Projection and pending evidence share one short lock; no lock spans entropy or submission. Callback mismatch, ambiguity, projection failure, or reorganization makes the instance unavailable. There is no retry, authorization, public publication, source Object, filesystem projection, migration, background work, or live repair. A fresh process replays from genesis.

Opening and replay are linear in canonical workspace history and authored bytes. Queries are expected constant time plus cloning exact authored bytes. A mutation adds one encoding, one Peering/KTO submission, one projection update, and returned-source cloning; dependency waits have no facade-owned time bound.
