# Public API
`K1Kmap` is the synchronous public facade. It reexports the format-v2 mutation types and Loader 0.6 traversal types.
`open_node` returns `OpenResult` containing `LoadedNode` values with `preview_origin: LoadOrigin` and `narrative_origin: Option<LoadOrigin>`. `LoadOrigin` is either `Root` or `Connection { source: NodeId, tier: ConnectionTier }`. Every preview records its exact root or incoming connection. A Full narrative separately records the occurrence that opened it, so a Navigation preview later opened through an Automated edge preserves both origins. NavigationOnly returns no narrative origin. Provenance does not change filtering, selection, cost, order, or RNG behavior.
`K1Kmap::create_node`, `update_node`, `apply_measurements`, `get_node`, and `open_node` retain their 0.5 signatures except for the provenance-bearing public traversal result. `update_node` atomically replaces supplied text fields and additively upserts or retiers supplied connections; omitted connections remain. Measurements apply in order. Missing sources or targets are no-ops.
The caller authorizes the traversal root and supplies source-ordered batches of unresolved targets. The filter returns the unique allowed subset; omissions deny and malformed responses reject. Denied targets are removed before reads, costs, scoring, provenance, and RNG.
Budget and temperature must be finite and nonnegative. Full returns the root narrative, free accessible root Navigation previews, and two-hit preview/narrative loading. NavigationOnly returns previews only and stops at its first unaffordable selected bundle. Duplicate frontier paths remain weighted tickets with cumulative path strength.
This release has no storage-format change, migration, compatibility adapter, daemon adoption, or live deployment.
