`verify_manifest` and `verify_source` enforce the selected composition dependencies and source wiring for compatible K1 daemon library 0.14 releases. The verifier requires the generic text-inference service, its tool-free provider profile, and HTTP composition 0.1.2 in addition to the prior daemon roots. It proves that the shared Codex adapter constructs `CodexTextInference` and that the resulting service is passed into HTTP composition.
The verifier performs no I/O, process launch, provider call, network work, daemon startup, or source mutation. Contract failures panic with fixed non-secret labels during the daemon library's own tests.
