# kcode-k1-codex-websearch
This library runs a live-Web search through the shared Codex app-server adapter.
Each call creates a fresh ephemeral one-shot search turn and preserves the caller's
single absolute deadline across start, events, and cleanup. The completed assistant
text is returned verbatim, including links and citations.
`Runner` clones share a monotonic operation counter and give every search a unique
reserved key. A completed turn is explicitly closed; errors, deadlines, and dropped
work rely on turn close or drop retirement. The library has no subprocess, retry,
fallback, cache, persistent search session, or request steering behavior.
