# kcode-k1-codex-conversations
This package owns K1's transport-independent Codex request construction and correlation state. It performs no I/O or scheduling. Shared configuration, tool, event, error, diagnostics, and validation values are owned by `kcode-k1-codex-conversation-values` and publicly reexported here, preserving existing paths and type identity.
`thread_start_params` uses the app-server `read-only` sandbox. `turn_start_params` and `turn_steer_params` emit text input; steering includes the active thread and expected turn IDs. `State::begin_steer` validates the active key and local serial before recording one correlated `Pending::Steer`; same-key steering serializes while distinct keys remain independent, and invalid targets do not change request state.
