# K1 Chat Web-code latest-check state

`kcode-k1-chat-thread-web-code-check-state` owns only the latest explicit Check outcome for one current conversation source. `LatestCheckState` is empty by default. `record_success` replaces any failure with matching `CheckEvidence`; `record_failure` replaces any success with the exact failed `WebCodeOutput`; and `clear` invalidates either outcome after a changed source or successful Open.

`successful_evidence` lends evidence to Publish. `failed_for_publish` clones an unchanged failed Check for Publish suppression, changing only its `ToolCallId`; messages, terminal result, metadata type, and metadata contents remain exact. The leaf never suppresses an explicit Check and never stores generic Publish failures.

Operations are in-memory constant-time moves, borrows, or clones apart from cloning the complete retained failed output bytes. The package performs no service call, I/O, history lookup, locking, authorization, persistence, publication, or retry.
