# kcode-k1-chat-persistence-store 0.6.1

Caller-rooted, per-session JSONL filesystem projection for K1 chat persistence. Compatible Records 0.5 owns codec-v2 records and session validation, while JSONL 0.2 owns transaction-ID line framing, strict parsing, and exact predecessor location. Store preserves its public record-value reexports for source compatibility.

Version 0.6.1 changes only compatible internal dependency selection: it adopts Records 0.5.1 and Chatend 0.8.2 without exact patch pins. Store behavior, codec-v2 bytes, filesystem layout, validation, synchronization, and public APIs are unchanged.

Store owns only its `sessions` directory. It retains fail-closed strict filesystem loading, atomic line append with file synchronization, reconcile-first exact-predecessor truncation, and discard behavior. Normal load and append reject malformed, blank, or incomplete JSONL; only reconcile-first predecessor location tolerates a corrupt or incomplete trailing suffix before truncating it. Missing session files load as empty.

Ordinary open-format boxes, including empty Agent Responses and preflight System Messages, Tool Calls, and Results, persist and load unchanged through the generic five-field codec-v2 JSONL representation. There is no special record, migration, legacy mode, provider behavior, or compatibility branch.
