Expand description

A command understood by the application itself (the cmd binding kind).

Variants§

§

Down

Move focus to the next on-screen line.

§

Up

Move focus to the previous on-screen line.

§

Expand

Expand the focused non-leaf, focus its first child if already expanded, or focus the next sibling of a leaf.

§

Collapse

Collapse the focused expanded branch, or focus its parent.

§

ExpandRecursively

Expand the focused non-leaf recursively, or focus the next sibling of a leaf.

§

Toggle

Flip the focused container between expanded and collapsed.

§

ToggleRecursively

Flip the focused container, expanding or collapsing recursively.

§

CollapseRecursively

Collapse the focused expanded branch recursively, or collapse its parent recursively and focus it.

§

Select

Enter semantics: expand a non-leaf, run the default action on a leaf.

§

Accept

Run the default action regardless of leaf-ness.

§

AcceptAlternate

Run the source-specific alternate action regardless of leaf-ness.

§

Descend

Descend into a non-leaf, expanding it first if collapsed.

§

Root

Make the focused node the root of the visible tree.

§

PopRoot

Restore the previous visible root.

§

Back

Restore the previous visible root, or quit at the original forest.

§

NextSibling

Focus next sibling, skipping over expanded children.

§

PrevSibling

Focus previous sibling.

§

PageDown

Scroll down one page.

§

PageUp

Scroll up one page.

§

HalfPageDown

Scroll down half a page.

§

HalfPageUp

Scroll up half a page.

§

Center

Center the focused node in the viewport.

§

First

Go to the first line.

§

Last

Go to the last visible line.

§

Jump

Open the jump picker: fuzzy-find a node by path and move focus to it.

§

Open

Hand the focused leaf’s filesystem path to the platform’s default opener. Nodes without one — containers, JSON — are left alone.

§

Quit

Exit without printing anything.

§

ToggleKeybindingPanel

Toggle the keybinding panel. Bound to the reserved ? key and not nameable in config, so it has no entry in AppCommand::parse.
