# Hopper Native Backend

Hopper Native is Hopper's sovereign low-level runtime substrate for Solana.

It exists so Hopper is not dependent on:
- Pinocchio
- solana-program
- any external runtime surface for its public API

Hopper Native is designed specifically for:
