Expand description

Error returned by HlsOriginBuilder::build when a required field was never set — never a silently-defaulted value (issue #873).

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

MissingTargetDurationSecs

§

MissingWindowSegments

§

InvalidTargetDuration

HlsOriginBuilder::target_duration_secs was NaN, infinite, zero or negative: EXT-X-TARGETDURATION must be a positive integer (RFC 8216bis §4.4.3.1).

§

ZeroPartTarget

HlsOriginBuilder::low_latency was given a part target of 0 ms: #EXT-X-PART-INF’s PART-TARGET must be a positive duration (RFC 8216bis §4.4.3.7), and the Advance Part Limit divides by it.

§

MediaSequenceOffsetTooLarge

HlsOriginBuilder::media_sequence_offset is so large that offset + u32::MAX (the largest origin sequence number) would not fit a u64 Media Sequence Number.

§

InvalidDeclaredBandwidth

HlsOriginBuilder::declared_bandwidth_bps was given 0 or a value greater than u32::MAX.

§

EmptyAudioRenditionGroupId

An audio rendition’s group_id is empty.

§

EmptyAudioRenditionName

An audio rendition’s name is empty.

§

DuplicateAudioRenditionName

Two audio renditions in one group share a NAME.

§

AudioRenditionDefaultCount

An audio rendition group does not have exactly one DEFAULT=YES member.

§

AudioRenditionDefaultNotAutoselect

A DEFAULT=YES audio rendition is not AUTOSELECT=YES (RFC 8216bis §4.4.6.1).

§

EmptyAudioRenditionLanguage

An audio rendition’s language is empty.

§

EmptyAudioRenditionUri

An audio rendition’s uri is empty.

§

AudioRenditionGroupsDiffer

Audio rendition groups do not all have the same members (RFC 8216bis §4.4.6.1).

§

EmptySubtitleRenditionName

A subtitle rendition’s name is empty.

§

EmptySubtitleRenditionLanguage

A subtitle rendition’s language is empty (Apple HLS Authoring Spec 4.7).

§

EmptySubtitleRenditionUri

A subtitle rendition’s uri is empty.

§

DuplicateSubtitleRenditionName

Two subtitle renditions share a NAME.

§

DuplicateSubtitleRenditionUri

Two subtitle renditions share a URI.

§

SubtitleRenditionDefaultNotAutoselect

A DEFAULT=YES subtitle rendition is not AUTOSELECT=YES (RFC 8216 §4.3.4.1.1).

§

MultipleDefaultSubtitleRenditions

More than one subtitle rendition is DEFAULT=YES (RFC 8216 §4.3.4.1.1).

§

SubtitleSiblingCountMismatch

subtitle_sibling_origins is non-empty but not one per declared rendition.

§

SubtitleSiblingNotWebVtt

A subtitle sibling origin is not a Container::WebVtt origin.

§

SubtitleSiblingTargetDurationMismatch

A subtitle sibling’s EXT-X-TARGETDURATION differs from this origin’s (Apple HLS Authoring Spec 5.6).

§

InvalidClosedCaptionInstreamId

A closed-caption override’s instream_id is not CC1..CC4 or SERVICE1..SERVICE63.

§

DuplicateClosedCaptionInstreamId

Two closed-caption overrides name the same INSTREAM-ID.
