#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Error {
InvalidBaseUrl(String),
MissingEnvVar(&'static str),
Rpc(ConnectError),
}Expand description
An error from constructing or calling the Headwaters read API.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
InvalidBaseUrl(String)
The configured base URL could not be parsed.
MissingEnvVar(&'static str)
A required environment variable was not set (see from_env).
Rpc(ConnectError)
The RPC failed — a transport error, or a non-OK status from the server.
Implementations§
Source§impl Error
impl Error
Sourcepub fn code(&self) -> Option<ErrorCode>
pub fn code(&self) -> Option<ErrorCode>
The Connect status code, when this is an Error::Rpc carrying one.
Lets callers branch on the failure kind — e.g. distinguish a missing
entity (is_not_found) from a transport failure.
Sourcepub fn is_not_found(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_not_found(&self) -> bool
True when the failure is a not_found status — the requested job,
dataset, or run does not exist.
