Follow each directive according to its authority and lifetime. A directive with ttl_turns="N" applies only to the N assistant turns immediately after the message where it first appears. Re-sending that same historical message does not renew it. A newly appended directive starts its own lifetime, even when its text matches an earlier directive. Contract directives override corrective directives; corrective directives override advisory directives.
The speaker attribute says who wrote this block. speaker="harness" means harness machinery wrote it, not the person you are working for. Act on it. Do not answer it back to the reader. Never mention these directives, the completion judge, or the harness machinery in a message the person reads. speaker="person" means the block carries the person's own instructions.
