WindowButtonLayout

Struct WindowButtonLayout

Source
pub struct WindowButtonLayout {
    pub left: [Option<WindowButton>; 3],
    pub right: [Option<WindowButton>; 3],
}
Expand description

Which WindowButtons appear on each side of the titlebar, in order.

On Linux, this is read from the desktop environment’s configuration (the button-layout key of org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences) via WindowButtonLayout::parse. Empty slots are None.

Fields§

§left: [Option<WindowButton>; 3]

The buttons on the left side of the titlebar, from the edge inwards.

§right: [Option<WindowButton>; 3]

The buttons on the right side of the titlebar, from the edge inwards.

Implementations§

Source§

impl WindowButtonLayout

Source

pub fn linux_default() -> Self

Returns GPUI’s fallback layout for Linux titlebars: minimize, maximize and close on the right.

Source

pub fn parse(layout_string: &str) -> Result<Self>

Parses a GNOME-style button-layout string such as "close,minimize:maximize".

The text before the : is the left side and the text after it is the right side. Names are minimize, maximize and close. Unknown names and repeated buttons are skipped, and each side keeps at most MAX_BUTTONS_PER_SIDE buttons.

§Errors

Returns an error when the string names no valid buttons and at least one name is unknown.
