Struct ApplyReport

    pub install: Duration,
}
Expand description

What apply_from_devtools did: whether the patch was applied, and why not when it was not.

Fields§

§applied: bool

The patch is installed and its handlers have run.

§layout_mismatches: Vec<LayoutMismatch>

The unreported layout-mismatch records that made the call refuse (empty otherwise). The caller carries them in its answer and then marks them with mark_layout_mismatches_reported.

§error: Option<PatchError>

Why applying failed, when it did (and no mismatch record was the reason).

§load: Duration

Wall time spent loading the library (load_patch_library: on Android the read, the memfd copy and android_dlopen_ext); zero when nothing was loaded. Part of the app’s permanent apply timings line, the instrument for patch-latency regressions.

§install: Duration

Wall time from the loaded library to the published table: the anchor checks, the rebase of every entry, the install and the handlers. Zero when nothing was installed.
