pub enum KnnMethod {
Hnsw(HnswParams),
Exact,
KdTree,
Annoy,
}Expand description
Approximate nearest-neighbour method used during graph construction.
Variants§
Hnsw(HnswParams)
HNSW via usearch v2.25 (C++ FFI, hardware SIMD) — default. Sub-linear query time; ~40–80 bytes/node overhead; optional f16 quantization.
Exact
Exact brute-force O(n·(n+50)·d). Correctness baseline; practical only for n < ~50 K.
KdTree
k-d tree via kiddo v5 (pure Rust, exact).
Best for d < 10, n < 1M; degrades for high-dimensional flow data.
Annoy
Annoy — reserved placeholder; returns PaCMAPError::MethodNotImplemented.
