- Update cached repos on subsequent access
- Shallow clones (`--depth 1`) to minimize bandwidth
##Non-Functional-Cache location follows platform conventions (XDG on Linux, Library/Caches on macOS)
- Git operations should not leak tokens in stdout/stderr output
