DefaultRenderTimer

Struct DefaultRenderTimer

Source
pub struct DefaultRenderTimer { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Defines a default render timer that uses a standard timer.

Platform implementations can supply their own DefaultRenderTimerImpl to use a specialized timer implementation.

Implementations§

Source§

impl DefaultRenderTimer

Source

pub fn new(frames_per_second: i32) -> Self

Initializes a new instance of the DefaultRenderTimer class that ticks on a thread of its own.

frames_per_second is the number of frames per second at which the loop should run.

Source

pub fn with_impl( frames_per_second: i32, overrides: Box<dyn DefaultRenderTimerImpl>, ) -> Self

Initializes a timer whose overridable members are provided by overrides.

Source

pub fn frames_per_second(&self) -> i32

Gets the number of frames per second at which the loop runs.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl IRenderTimer for DefaultRenderTimer

Source§

fn tick(&self) -> Option<RenderTimerTick>

Gets the callback to be invoked when the timer ticks.
Source§

fn set_tick(&self, value: Option<RenderTimerTick>)

Sets the callback to be invoked when the timer ticks. Read more
Source§

fn runs_in_background(&self) -> bool

Indicates if the timer ticks on a non-UI thread.
Source§

fn request_tick_out_of_turn(&self)

Asks for a tick out of turn: as soon as the thread that ticks can produce one, without waiting for the next period of the timer (the next frame of a display). Not from upstream. Read more
