UiThreadRenderTimer

Struct UiThreadRenderTimer

Source
pub struct UiThreadRenderTimer { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Render timer that ticks on UI thread. Useful for debugging or bootstrapping on new platforms.

The timer ticks on the dispatcher of the thread that starts it (the thread that sets the tick callback), which is expected to be the UI thread.

Implementations§

Source§

impl UiThreadRenderTimer

Source

pub fn new(frames_per_second: i32) -> Self

Initializes a new instance of the UiThreadRenderTimer class.

frames_per_second is the number of frames per second at which the loop should run.

Source

pub fn frames_per_second(&self) -> i32

Gets the number of frames per second at which the loop runs.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl IRenderTimer for UiThreadRenderTimer

Source§

fn tick(&self) -> Option<RenderTimerTick>

Gets the callback to be invoked when the timer ticks.
Source§

fn set_tick(&self, value: Option<RenderTimerTick>)

Sets the callback to be invoked when the timer ticks. Read more
Source§

fn runs_in_background(&self) -> bool

Indicates if the timer ticks on a non-UI thread.
Source§

fn request_tick_out_of_turn(&self)

Asks for a tick out of turn: as soon as the thread that ticks can produce one, without waiting for the next period of the timer (the next frame of a display). Not from upstream. Read more
