# Code of Conduct
This project follows the Rust community's general expectations: be kind,
constructive, and precise.
## Expected Behavior
- Assume good intent while still naming problems clearly.
- Make space for new Rust users and maintainers adopting metadata gradually.
- Keep feedback focused on behavior, code, docs, and tradeoffs.
- Prefer actionable suggestions over drive-by criticism.
## Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment, threats, or discriminatory language.
- Publicly sharing private vulnerability details before a fix is available.
- Repeatedly derailing issues or pull requests after maintainers have asked to
refocus.
## Enforcement
Maintainers may edit, hide, or remove comments; close issues; or block users
when needed to keep the project safe and productive.
