A normalized search request.

Each source maps the fields it supports onto its own API parameters. The command layer consults Capabilities first and rejects any field the source cannot honour, so a filter is never silently dropped.

patents: bool

Return patents only. Sources that can honour it filter to the patent subset; without it they exclude patents. Results are never mixed, so a caller always knows which it asked for.
