Explicit independent-copy contract for the canonical constraint owner. A shallow Clone of grammar or mutable handles does not provide this guarantee.

Complete logical controller storage, including mutable grammar state. Unknown state costs disable snapshots before any copying occurs.

Copies without committing tokens, changing the source or sharing mutable parser state. Errors preserve the source and all existing snapshots.
