# Security Policy

## Overview

This crate implements enterprise-grade security hardening with comprehensive threat mitigation, continuous security monitoring, and supply chain integrity verification.

## Security Measures

### 1. Vulnerability Management

**Cargo Audit** - Dependency vulnerability scanning
- Scans for known security vulnerabilities in dependencies
- Fails on any detected vulnerabilities (`--deny warnings`)
- Runs on every push and pull request
- Scheduled daily scans for new CVEs

- Filesystem scanning for configuration and dependency vulnerabilities

- Prevents use of yanked crates

- Enforces MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, and other approved licenses
- Prevents GPL/AGPL dependencies

**Supply Chain Verification**
- No Git dependencies allowed (only published crates)
- Ensures reproducible, auditable builds
- Verifies all dependencies from crates.io
