## Compatibility Notes
### Wire Format
- DX-Machine uses a different wire format than RKYV
- Not binary-compatible with RKYV archives
- Migration requires re-serialization
### Type System
- No derive macros yet (manual serialization)
- Explicit field indices (compile-time offsets)
- No schema validation (raw binary access)
### Safety
- Use `QuantumReader` for bounds-checked access
- Use `DxMmap` for validated memory-mapped files
- Avoid `unsafe` direct pointer access unless benchmarked
## Troubleshooting
### Issue: "Field index out of bounds"
Solution: Ensure field count matches builder initialization:

### Issue: "String not inlined"
Solution: Strings >24 bytes use heap. Pre-allocate heap slots:
