Expand description

A ULE parse / serialize error.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

BufferTooShort

Input shorter than required.

Fields

§need: usize

Bytes required.

§have: usize

Bytes available.

§what: &'static str

What was being parsed.

§

OutputBufferTooSmall

The output buffer passed to serialize_into was too small.

Fields

§need: usize

Bytes required.

§have: usize

Bytes available.

§

InvalidLength

The SNDU Length field is inconsistent with the available bytes.

Length counts from the byte after the Type field up to and including the CRC (RFC 4326 §4.2).

Fields

§length: u16

The Length field value.

§reason: &'static str

Why it is invalid.

§

CrcMismatch

The 32-bit CRC trailer did not match the recomputed value (RFC 4326 §4.6).

Fields

§computed: u32

CRC recomputed over the SNDU.

§found: u32

CRC read from the trailer.

§

FieldTooWide

A field value did not fit in its wire bit-width.

Fields

§what: &'static str

The over-wide field name.

§value: u32

The offending value.

§bits: u32

The field width on the wire.

§

InvalidExtensionHeader

An extension header was malformed (bad H-LEN/H-Type or truncated body).

Fields

§reason: &'static str

Why the extension header is invalid.

§

TsMapping

A TS packet payload was the wrong size or carried an invalid Payload Pointer (RFC 4326 §6/§7).

Fields

§reason: &'static str

Why the TS payload could not be processed.
