LinuxCiDataDevice

Struct LinuxCiDataDevice

Source
pub struct LinuxCiDataDevice { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A CiDataDevice backed by a Linux DVB CI TS data-plane device (/dev/dvb/adapterN/ciM). The host writes scrambled TS and reads the descrambled TS back; I/O is in whole 188-byte packets.

Implementations§

Source§

impl LinuxCiDataDevice

Source

pub fn open(adapter: u32, ci: u32) -> Result<Self>

Open /dev/dvb/adapter{adapter}/ci{ci}.

Source

pub fn from_file(file: File) -> Self

Wrap an already-open CI data-plane device file.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl CiDataDevice for LinuxCiDataDevice

Source§

fn write(&mut self, ts: &[u8]) -> Result<()>

Write scrambled TS to the module. ts must be a whole number of TS_PACKET_LEN-byte packets.
Source§

fn read(&mut self, buf: &mut [u8]) -> Result<usize>

Read descrambled TS into buf (sized to a multiple of TS_PACKET_LEN); returns the byte count. Ok(0) means none available (non-blocking).
Source§

fn poll(&mut self, timeout: Duration) -> Result<bool>

Wait up to timeout for descrambled TS to become readable; Ok(true) if readable.
Source§

impl Debug for LinuxCiDataDevice

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
