Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

ShortRecord

Record is shorter than the fixed 8-byte header.

InvalidByteCount(usize)

The record’s declared total_byte_count is inconsistent with its length.

Misaligned

The decompressed payload is not a whole number of u32 values.

ScanCountOverflow

The decoded scan_count exceeds the decompressed payload length.

Decoded scan count.

len: usize

Number of u32 values actually present.

Zstd(Error)

zstd decompression of the payload failed.
