    IoError,
    PartialWrite,
    ConnectionReset,
    Timeout,
    Corruption,
    PermissionDenied,
}
Expand description

A type of failure that can be injected.

§Example

use dev_chaos::FailureMode;
assert_eq!(FailureMode::IoError.as_str(), "io_error");

Variants§

§

IoError

Generic I/O error.

§

PartialWrite

Partial write: returns an error after writing some bytes.

§

ConnectionReset

Connection reset.

§

Timeout

Operation timeout.

§

Corruption

Corrupted data: returns success but with corrupted bytes.

§

PermissionDenied

Permission denied.

Implementations§

Source§

impl FailureMode

Source

pub fn as_str(&self) -> &'static str

Human-readable name for this failure mode.

Source

pub fn to_io_kind(&self) -> ErrorKind

Map this mode to an std::io::ErrorKind.
