Local per-peer reputation scoring for deCDN nodes (ADR 008): EWMA over observed outcomes, with no gossip aggregation
Documentation

decdn-reputation

Part of deCDN — a decentralized CDN where nodes cache and serve BLAKE3-addressed blobs over iroh QUIC, and clients pay per megabyte in USDC with off-chain vouchers backed by a shared on-chain payment pool.

Status: early implementation. deCDN runs a public testnet on Arbitrum Sepolia and is pre-mainnet. Wire formats, APIs and on-chain interfaces change without compatibility shims until mainnet.

Local per-peer reputation scoring (ADR 008): an exponentially weighted moving average over observed delivery outcomes, used to rank candidate peers. Probes record nothing.

Scores are strictly local. There is no gossip aggregation and no shared reputation state — a node's view is built only from what it has itself observed, and it lives in memory only.
