.SH NAME
datui\-man \- show a manual page, list them, or write them all under a directory
.SH SYNOPSIS
.nf
\fBdatui man\fR [\fIPAGE\fR] [\fB\-\-list\fR] [\fB\-\-dir\fR \fIDIR\fR]
.fi
.SH DESCRIPTION
Show a manual page, list them, or write them all under a directory.
.PP
With no option, prints the page, or shows it with man(1) when standard output is a terminal; where man(1) is missing, as plain text through a pager: \fB$PAGER\fR, else less(1) or more(1). \fB\-\-dir\fR writes every page, so \fBman datui\fR finds them; a package or the release archive installs them already. \fIPAGE\fR is a page's name with or without \fBdatui\-\fR, and \fB.5\fR or \fB.7\fR for the file and topic pages when a command shares the name.
.SH OPTIONS
.TP
\fIPAGE\fR
The page: datui (the default), a command (config, catalog, theme, cache, views, formats, completions, man), config.5, keys, query or formats.7.
.TP
\fB\-\-list\fR
List the pages and what each covers.
.TP
\fB\-\-dir\fR \fIDIR\fR
Write every page under DIR, in man1, man5 and man7, where man looks for them: ~/.local/share/man.
.TP
\fB\-c\fR, \fB\-\-config\fR \fIKEY=VALUE\fR
Set a config key for this run, as in the file: \-c display.\:row_numbers=true. Repeatable; a flag of the key's own still wins. \fBdatui config keys\fR lists them.
.TP
\fB\-h\fR, \fB\-\-help\fR
Print help.
.SH "EXIT STATUS"
.TP
\fB0\fR
Success: the session was quit (q, Ctrl+Q or Ctrl+C), or the command did what it was asked.
.TP
\fB1\fR
An error, printed to standard error: a PATH that is not there, a configuration file that cannot be used, nothing piped in for \-, or a command that failed (datui formats check on a spec with errors).
.TP
\fB2\fR
A usage error: an unknown option or command, or a value an option does not take.
