#[non_exhaustive]pub enum SettingDifference {
#[non_exhaustive] SettingChanged {
setting: String,
},
#[non_exhaustive] SettingUnrecorded {
setting: String,
},
}Expand description
How a setting that can produce a diagnostic’s change compares across the two reports. A diagnostic carrying one may not reflect a change in the data.
Two settings are read: columns, the column selection, on an added or
removed column, and identifier_columns on a type change to or from
identifier, the one type a setting assigns. An input path that types the
same data differently is not recorded, so it cannot be named here (#906).
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
#[non_exhaustive]SettingChanged
The setting differs between the two reports for this column.
Fields
This variant is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enum variants could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive enum variants cannot be constructed in external crates and cannot be matched against.
#[non_exhaustive]SettingUnrecorded
At least one side did not record the setting, so it cannot be shown to be the same.
