## Acceptable use

dar-forensic is designed for lawful digital forensics, incident response, and backup inspection. You agree to use dar-forensic only for purposes that are legal in your jurisdiction.

Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:

- Reading or extracting archives, devices, or data you do not own or have explicit authorisation to access.
- Any activity that violates applicable computer fraud, data protection, or privacy laws.

dar-forensic is provided **"as is"**, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Security Ronin Ltd makes no representations regarding fitness for evidentiary, legal, or regulatory purposes. dar-forensic reads a complex, partly reverse-engineered archive format; verify critical results against an independent tool. Use in official proceedings is solely at the user's discretion and risk.
