CuSimBridge

Struct CuSimBridge

Source
pub struct CuSimBridge<Tx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static, Rx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Placeholder bridge used in simulation when a bridge is configured with run_in_sim: false.

This bridge is parameterized directly by the Tx/Rx channel sets generated from configuration, so the original bridge type does not need to compile in simulation mode.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<Tx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static, Rx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static> CuBridge for CuSimBridge<Tx, Rx>

Source§

type Tx = Tx

Outgoing channels (Copper -> external world).
Source§

type Rx = Rx

Incoming channels (external world -> Copper).
Source§

type Resources<'r> = ()

Resources required by the bridge.
Source§

fn new( _config: Option<&ComponentConfig>, _tx_channels: &[BridgeChannelConfig<<Self::Tx as BridgeChannelSet>::Id>], _rx_channels: &[BridgeChannelConfig<<Self::Rx as BridgeChannelSet>::Id>], _resources: Self::Resources<'_>, ) -> CuResult<Self>
where Self: Sized,

Constructs a new bridge. Read more
Source§

fn send<'a, Payload>( &mut self, _ctx: &CuContext, _channel: &'static BridgeChannel<<Self::Tx as BridgeChannelSet>::Id, Payload>, _msg: &CuMsg<Payload>, ) -> CuResult<()>
where Payload: CuMsgPayload + 'a,

Sends a message on the selected outbound channel.
Source§

fn receive<'a, Payload>( &mut self, _ctx: &CuContext, _channel: &'static BridgeChannel<<Self::Rx as BridgeChannelSet>::Id, Payload>, _msg: &mut CuMsg<Payload>, ) -> CuResult<()>
where Payload: CuMsgPayload + 'a,

Receives a message from the selected inbound channel. Read more
Source§

fn start(&mut self, _ctx: &CuContext) -> CuResult<()>

Called before the first send/receive cycle.
Source§

fn preprocess(&mut self, _ctx: &CuContext) -> CuResult<()>

Gives the bridge a chance to prepare buffers before I/O.
Source§

fn postprocess(&mut self, _ctx: &CuContext) -> CuResult<()>

Called once the send/receive pair completed.
Source§

fn stop(&mut self, _ctx: &CuContext) -> CuResult<()>

Notifies the bridge that no more I/O will happen until a subsequent [start].
Source§

impl<Tx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static, Rx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static> Freezable for CuSimBridge<Tx, Rx>

Source§

fn freeze<E: Encoder>(&self, encoder: &mut E) -> Result<(), EncodeError>

This method is called by the framework when it wants to save the task state. The default implementation is to encode nothing (stateless). If you have a state, you need to implement this method.
Source§

fn thaw<D: Decoder>(&mut self, _decoder: &mut D) -> Result<(), DecodeError>

This method is called by the framework when it wants to restore the task to a specific state. Here it is similar to Decode but the framework will give you a new instance of the task (the new method will be called)
Source§

impl<Tx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static, Rx: BridgeChannelSet + 'static> TypePath for CuSimBridge<Tx, Rx>

Source§

fn type_path() -> &'static str

Source§

fn short_type_path() -> &'static str

Source§

fn type_ident() -> Option<&'static str>

Source§

fn crate_name() -> Option<&'static str>

Source§

fn module_path() -> Option<&'static str>
