pub struct RootVerification {
pub at_seq: u64,
pub record: RecordStatus,
pub recomputation: Recomputation,
pub recomputed: Option<StateRoot>,
}Expand description
The result of checking one persisted root.
Two facts, reported separately AND ON PURPOSE:
root_record: valid
recomputation: unavailable
reason: HISTORY_PRUNEDFlattening that into PASS would claim a check that never ran. Flattening it into FAIL would report tampering that never happened. A pruned database is not a corrupt one, and an operator who cannot tell the two apart will either ignore real alarms or panic at routine ones.
Fields§
§at_seq: u64§record: RecordStatus§recomputation: Recomputation§recomputed: Option<StateRoot>What the recomputation produced, when one happened.
Implementations§
Source§impl RootVerification
impl RootVerification
Sourcepub fn is_verified(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_verified(&self) -> bool
True only when a recomputation actually ran and agreed. Deliberately
NOT !is_failure(): “unavailable” is neither.
Sourcepub fn is_mismatch(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_mismatch(&self) -> bool
True only on a positive disagreement — a recomputation ran and did not match. This is the one that means something is wrong.
