# Notice — Supplemental Terms
This file supplements [LICENSE.md](LICENSE.md) with software-specific
clarifications for the CrispyTivi project.
## Project Nature
CrispyTivi is a **passion project** created for learning and personal
entertainment. It is not a commercial product. The source code is made
publicly available so that others may learn from it, study its
architecture, and contribute improvements.
## What You May Do
- **Read and study** the source code for educational purposes
- **Contribute** by opening pull requests against this repository
- **Report issues** to help improve the project
- **Download and use** pre-built releases for personal,
non-commercial purposes
- **Reference** the code in articles, tutorials, or educational
materials (with proper attribution)
## What You May Not Do
- **Republish** the source code (in whole or in part) on other
platforms, repositories, or distributions
- **Clone and redistribute** the project under a different name
or branding
- **Use commercially** in any form without a separate written
license from the original author
- **Remove or alter** copyright notices, license references,
or attribution
## Commercial Rights
The original author (Mo Abualruz) retains exclusive rights to
commercialize this software. No other party may use, sell, license,
or distribute this software or derivative works for commercial
purposes without explicit written permission.
## Contributions
By submitting a pull request or other contribution to this project,
you agree that your contribution is licensed under the same
CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 terms as the rest of the project, and that you
grant the original author the right to use your contribution under
any license (including commercial licenses) at their discretion.
## Scope
These supplemental terms apply to all source code, configuration
files, build scripts, documentation, and other materials in this
repository. They are intended to clarify the application of the
CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license to software, which Creative Commons does
not typically design its licenses for.
In the event of any conflict between this notice and the
CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license text, the more restrictive interpretation
applies.
