Expand description

Resolved on-disk layout for one plugin’s venv.

The class root (the first dotted segment of the class name) names the directory, which is what makes plugins in one package share a venv.

Fields§

§plugin_path: PathBuf

Directory holding the venv and its cache — <plugin_dir>/<class_root>.

§venv_path: PathBuf

The virtualenv itself.

§cache_dir: PathBuf

Cache-metadata directory.

§metadata_path: PathBuf

This plugin’s metadata file within cache_dir.

§manifest_path: PathBuf

This plugin’s persisted manifest.

§owners_path: PathBuf

Owner registry for the shared venv directory. Shared by every plugin that resolves to this venv_path, unlike metadata_path.

Implementations§

Source§

impl VenvLayout

Source

pub fn resolve( plugin_dirs: &[String], class_name: &str, ) -> Result<Self, HostError>

Resolve the layout for a class name under the first configured plugin dir, mirroring client.py’s __init__.

Source

pub fn python_executable(&self) -> PathBuf

The venv’s own Python interpreter.
