Runner

Struct Runner

Source
pub struct Runner { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Native io_uring runner executing ordinary tasks on a pool of workers, the first on its calling thread.

The root future doesn’t have to be Send and always runs on the calling thread. Ordinary spawned futures run on whichever pool worker takes them, and dedicated and blocking ones on threads of their own. The runner waits for every pool worker, dedicated worker cleanup, and retained writes and syncs before returning or resuming a panic. Native thread-local destruction may follow.
