Help: printtex({str}*): outputs its string arguments in TeX format.
Doc: outputs its arguments in \TeX\ format. This output can then be
used in a \TeX\ manuscript. The arguments are converted to strings following
the rules in \secref{se:strings}.
The printing is done on the standard output. If you want to print it to a
file you should use \kbd{writetex} (see there).
Another possibility is to enable the \tet{log} default
(see~\secref{se:defaults}).
