NullableFactor

Struct NullableFactor

Source
pub struct NullableFactor {
    pub fct: FctColumn,
    pub validity: BitMask,
}
Expand description

A FctColumn with a validity bitmap. Null cells have validity=false. Null is NOT a level; data[i] for a null row is 0 (sentinel, must not be used).

Fields§

§fct: FctColumn§validity: BitMask

Implementations§

Source§

impl NullableFactor

Source

pub fn from_fct(fct: FctColumn) -> Self

Construct from a FctColumn (all rows valid).

Source

pub fn new(fct: FctColumn, validity: BitMask) -> Self

Construct from a FctColumn + validity bitmap.

Source

pub fn encode_nullable(strings: &[Option<String>]) -> Result<Self, TidyError>

Encode a string slice with optional null markers.

strings[i] = None → null row.

Source

pub fn nrows(&self) -> usize

Source

pub fn nlevels(&self) -> usize

Source

pub fn is_null(&self, i: usize) -> bool

Source

pub fn count_valid(&self) -> usize

Source

pub fn decode(&self, i: usize) -> Option<&str>

Decode row i, or None if null.

Source

pub fn fct_lump(&self, n: usize) -> Result<Self, TidyError>

fct_lump on non-null rows only. Null rows remain null.

Source

pub fn fct_reorder( &self, summary_vals: &[f64], descending: bool, ) -> Result<Self, TidyError>

fct_reorder on non-null rows. Null rows remain null.

Source

pub fn fct_collapse(&self, mapping: &[(&str, &str)]) -> Result<Self, TidyError>

fct_collapse (metadata only, @nogc safe).
