#[non_exhaustive]pub enum ValidationMode {
Strict,
Permissive,
Partial,
}Expand description
Used to select how a policy will be validated.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Strict
Validate that policies do not contain any type errors, and additionally have a restricted form which is amenable for analysis.
Permissive
Available on crate feature
permissive-validate only.Validate that policies do not contain any type errors.
This feature is experimental. For more information see https://github.com/cedar-policy/rfcs/blob/main/README.md#experimental-features
Partial
Available on crate feature
partial-validate only.Validate using a partial schema. Policies may contain type errors.
This feature is experimental. For more information see https://github.com/cedar-policy/rfcs/blob/main/README.md#experimental-features
