SQLite driver for the dope runtime
Documentation
# 才

Database drivers for the dope runtime.

`cartel-sqlite` requires a private native page cache without global page-cache
allocation statistics. Cartel supplies these flags when `LIBSQLITE3_FLAGS` is unset.
Consuming applications must append them to any native flags before building:

```sh
export LIBSQLITE3_FLAGS="${LIBSQLITE3_FLAGS:+$LIBSQLITE3_FLAGS }-USQLITE_ENABLE_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT -DSQLITE_DISABLE_PAGECACHE_OVERFLOW_STATS"
```

Cargo configuration inside a dependency does not propagate to its consumers.
Keep SQLite's native threading enabled. `Runtime::install` rejects incompatible
builds before installing allocator hooks or initializing SQLite: `GlobalCache`
when memory management is enabled, then `CacheStats` when overflow statistics
are not disabled.

Run `cargo +stable test --workspace`.
PostgreSQL server tests are ignored by default; run them with
`env CARTEL_PG_TEST=1 cargo +stable test -p cartel-pg -- --ignored`.
Enable `ltree` in the test database first with `CREATE EXTENSION ltree;`.
Connection settings use `PG_HOST`, `PG_PORT`, `PG_USER`, `PG_PASSWORD`, and
`PG_DATABASE`.

```sh
cargo +stable run --release -p cartel-pg --example server_version
cargo +stable run --release -p cartel-redis --example connection
```

The PostgreSQL example defaults to `127.0.0.1:5432` and `bench` for the user,
password, and database. Redis uses `REDIS_ADDR` (default `127.0.0.1:6379`).
