## ๐ฆ Installation
```bash
# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/cargo-scrubber
cd cargo-scrubber
# Build and install
cargo install --path .
# Or build for release
cargo build --release
```
## ๐ฎ Usage
**Main Handler**: `scrub.rs:handle_scrub()` (verified in `scrub.rs:5-67`)
**Implementation**: Matches on `ScrubAction` enum:
- `ScrubAction::Run { ... }` โ Creates `ScrubOptions` and runs `CargoScrubber::scrub()` (verified in `scrub.rs:6-40`)
- `ScrubAction::Help` โ Prints help message (verified in `scrub.rs:41-66`)
### Basic Usage
```bash
# Clean all projects (default start: /)
cm scrub run
# Dry run to see what would be cleaned
cm scrub run --dry-run
# Verbose output
cm scrub run -v
```
### Advanced Usage
```bash
# Target a specific directory
cm scrub run -s /home/user/projects
# Resume from a specific project pattern
cm scrub run -r "my-project"
# Set depth limits
cm scrub run --min-depth 2 --max-depth 5
# Get help
cm scrub help
```
**Available Options** (verified in `scrub.rs:6-40`):
- `--dry-run` - Show what would be cleaned without actually doing it (`dry_run: bool`)
- `-v, --verbose` - Verbose output (`verbose: bool`)
- `-s, --start <DIR>` - Start directory (default: "/") (`start: String`)
- `-r, --resume <PATTERN>` - Resume from specific project directory (`resume: Option<String>`)
- `--min-depth <N>` - Minimum depth to search (default: 1) (`min_depth: Option<usize>`)
- `--max-depth <N>` - Maximum depth to search (default: 10) (`max_depth: Option<usize>`)
**Implementation Details** (verified in `scrub.rs:6-40`):
- Creates `ConfigManager` instance to read configuration
- Reads `version_control.auto_git_commit` from config (default: "true", parsed to bool)
- Creates `ScrubOptions` struct with:
- User-provided options (dry_run, verbose, start_dir, resume_from, min_depth, max_depth)
- Fixed options:
- `jobs: 4` (hardcoded)
- `min_size: None`
- `sort_by_size: false`
- `export_json: None`
- `interactive: false`
- `exclude_patterns: Vec::new()`
- `stats_only: false`
- `shine: false`
- `encrypted_backups: false`
- `profile: false`
- `html_report: None`
- `git_commit: auto_git_commit` (from config)
- `max_undo_days: 30`
- `ai_detect: false`
- Creates `CargoScrubber` instance with options
- Calls `scrubber.scrub()` to perform the cleaning operation
- Uses `scrubme::scrub::CargoScrubber` module for actual cleaning
