# Retracted: This verification report overstates reality
This file previously graded the `cli-tool` and `api-server` templates "EXCELLENT," citing features like a "Tower middleware stack," "JSON API endpoints," and "Command/subcommand architecture," and concluded with "READY FOR PRODUCTION USE."
An internal audit (August 2026) found this contradicted by the actual templates:
- The `cli-tool` and `api-server` templates currently generate placeholder/stub files for their core logic (`handlers.rs`, `routes.rs`, `models.rs`) rather than the working implementations this report describes.
- The report is attributed to a "Claude Code Verification Swarm" and grades templates it does not appear to have actually compiled or exercised beyond the `library` template.
This file is kept in place (rather than deleted) so the retraction is visible where the original claims were. See the repository's README for accurate, current information about what each template generates.
