= Academic Theme
This Calepin theme is a reading-first academic site layout inspired by the
#link("https://github.com/Yousa-Mirage/Tufted-Blog-Template")[Tufted Blog Template]
by Yousa-Mirage and adapted to Calepin's bundled `academic` theme name.
The implementation is not a direct copy of that template. It adapts the main
ideas -- a narrow reading column, margin-note support, quiet typography, simple
top navigation, and restrained article chrome -- to Calepin's theme system,
shared partials, shared CSS, and shared JavaScript.
The original Tufted Blog Template is distributed under the MIT License. A copy
of that license is included in this directory as `LICENSE`.
