# Mock Testing Scripts

Scripts for testing BCMS with a mock backend server.

## Usage

```bash
# Terminal 1: Start mock backend
./scripts/run-server

# Terminal 2: Run BCMS with mock config
./scripts/run-bcms
```

## Files

| File | Description |
|------|-------------|
| `run-server` | Starts mock backend on port 8080 |
| `run-bcms` | Runs BCMS with mock config (clears device cache) |
| `mock_backend.py` | Mock server emulating backend API |
| `mock-config.json` | BCMS config pointing to mock backend |

## Endpoints (mock server)

- `POST /api/iot-devices/exists` - Check device existence
- `POST /api/iot-devices` - Register device
- `POST /api/iot-devices/data/submit` - Submit IoT data
- `GET /api/iot-devices/{id}/last-data-submission` - Get last submission timestamp

## Notes

- `run-bcms` deletes `~/.local/share/bluetooth-client-manager-service/device.json` on each run for a fresh start
- Mock server accepts any Bearer token
- Data submissions are logged to stdout
