Basic Text includes tab and limited format controls such as no-break space,
non‑breaking hyphen, no-break space, non‑breaking hyphen, and
softhyphen. It includes the grapheme control combining grapheme joiner
(compare "Ü" with "U͏̈"), zero-with non-joiner (compare "deafly" with
"deafly"), zero with joiner (compare "😶🌫️" with "😶🌫️"),
and word joiner. And it includes the implicit directional
formatting characters and the replacement character (�). And the
Mongolian vowel separator (compare "ᠯᠤᠭᠠ" with "ᠯᠤᠭᠠ"). And, of course,
