TimeSyncSource

Enum TimeSyncSource

Source
pub enum TimeSyncSource {
    Direct(Vec<u8>),
    Routed {
        network: u16,
        address: Vec<u8>,
    },
}
Expand description

Exact claimed time-sync source, not an authenticated principal.

Unconfirmed dispatch exposes transport MAC and NPDU source only. On SC the MAC is the source VMAC, not a certificate identity or proof of trust. Routed identity takes precedence; a trusted router MAC does not trust its clients.

Variants§

§

Direct(Vec<u8>)

Complete transport-native MAC (1 to BACnetAddress::MAX_MAC_LEN octets), only when no routed source is present.

§

Routed

Complete claimed routed source, independent of the immediate router. Once the server knows its own network’s number, an entry on that network also matches the station’s direct requests from address with no routed source (#1458).

Fields

§network: u16

Source network (1..=65534).

§address: Vec<u8>

Source address (1 to BACnetAddress::MAX_MAC_LEN octets).
