# Code of Conduct
argv-todo welcomes people of all backgrounds and experience levels. Everyone participating in issues, pull requests, reviews, and other project spaces is expected to follow this policy.
## Expected behavior
- Be respectful and considerate. Critique ideas and code, rather than people.
- Explain your reasoning and give actionable feedback.
- Respect different experiences, perspectives, and communication styles.
- Accept corrections, take responsibility for mistakes, and help resolve disagreements.
- Respect people's privacy and boundaries.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, sexualized attention, personal attacks, deliberate disruption, and publishing private information without consent are not acceptable.
## Reporting concerns
Contact a repository maintainer privately using a contact method listed on their GitHub profile. If none is available, open an issue asking for a private contact method without including names, personal information, or incident details. Reports about a maintainer should go to another repository owner when possible.
You may also use [GitHub's abuse reporting process](https://docs.github.com/en/communities/maintaining-your-safety-on-github/reporting-abuse-or-spam).
## Enforcement
Maintainers are responsible for applying this policy fairly. They may edit or remove inappropriate content, issue a warning, limit participation temporarily, or ban a participant for serious or repeated violations.
Maintainers will handle reports discreetly and share information only as needed to investigate or respond. A person involved in a report should not decide its outcome. To request review of a decision, contact a repository owner who was not involved, when one is available.
